Daniel Calhoun Roper (April 1, 1867 – April 11, 1943) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the 7th United States Secretary of Commerce under President Franklin D.
Roosevelt, and was the 5th United States Ambassador to Canada from May 19, 1939 until August 20, 1939.
