Earl Jesse Battey, Jr. (January 5, 1935 – November 15, 2003) was an American professional baseball player.He played in Major League Baseball as a catcher for the Chicago White Sox (1955–1959) and Washington Senators / Minnesota Twins (1960–1967).
In the early 1960s, Battey was one of the top catchers in the American League, winning three consecutive Gold Glove Awards between 1960 and 1962.
