David Way Allerdice (March 26, 1887 – January 10, 1941) was an American football player and coach.He played college football as the University of Michigan as a halfback from 1907 to 1909.
Allerdice served as the head football coach at Butler University in 1911 and the University of Texas at Austin from 1911 to 1915.
He left Butler after the team's first game in early October to move to Texas, succeeding his former Michigan teammate Billy Wasmund, who had died from a fall.
