Henry Potter (January 5, 1766 – December 20, 1857) was the longest-serving United States federal judge to sit on a single court and the longest-serving judge in active service.
Potter served as a United States circuit judge of the United States Circuit Court for the Fifth Circuit and as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Albemarle, Cape Fear and Pamptico Districts of North Carolina.
