Willi Ritschard (sometimes Willy Ritschard; 28 September 1918 – 16 October 1983) was a Swiss politician and member of the Swiss Federal Council (1974–1983).He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on 5 December 1973 and died in office on 16 October 1983.
He remains the most recent Federal Councillor to have died while serving.He was affiliated with the Social Democratic Party.
During his time in office he held the following departments:
* Department of Transport, Communications and Energy (1974–1979)
* Federal Department of Finance (1980–1983) He was President of the Confederation in 1978.
