William F.Barnes (October 20, 1917 – April 23, 2009) was an American football player and coach.He was the head coach at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1958 to 1964.
Barnes guided his teams to a 31–34–3 (.478) record, including two seven-win seasons in 1960 and 1961 and an appearance in the Rose Bowl.
